A big thank you goes to our host Second Baptist Church, and all the churches that have participated - - what an incredible group of women. There were many churches from in and around the Springfield area that graciously served the Lord and we are thankful for each one of you who wanted to bring this event to your area.
We had an amazing two day event with women (2000) coming from all over the Springfield area, and beyond. We joined together for fresh grounded Bible study from Jennifer Rothschild, incredible testimony and sharing from Stormie Omartian and amazing music and worship with our special friend Michael O'Brien.
What do house robes, Jennifer Rothschild and 200 women have in common? Read this funny exchange, just for laughs!

What an awesome weekend. It was everything I expected and more. I am already making plans to go again whenever it is in Springfield.
Both you and Stormie gave me new insight as to the direction I need to go. Keep up the good work. I will be keeping eye out on Web and FaceBook for updates on your ministry. Sorry I have never got the hang of Twitter.
Your (Big) Sister in Christ,

I wanted to take a moment and send you a note of thanks. I was blessed, once again, to attend the Fresh Grounded Faith conference in Springfield this year. Although I have been to the conference before, I was really touched by what you shared with us this past weekend.
I felt like you were really speaking to me when you were talking about the step-sister, the cheerleader, and the go getter/gutsy girl (not sure that I have the last one exactly right)? I realized I have been a step-sister, but God worked in my life, and over time I have graduated to the “Gutsy Girl” stage. Within that realization though, I had to face the fact that I have regressed to the previous stages and although have moments when I am a “Gutsy Girl”, I am mostly, at this point in a stagnate place.
Realizing this has given me a new focus. To pray, test through His word, and pursue His will even more diligently than before.
So, to close, I again want to say “Thank You”. You have, through Fresh Grounded Faith, renewed, refreshed and refocused one sister searching for her way in His will. Hopefully, with God’s grace, I will soon be restored to my “Gutsy Girl” status, and will land in the center of God’s will.

I was blessed in so many ways at the Fresh Grounded Faith Conference in Springfield. I want to encourage those sitting on the fence, trying to decided if it's worth the effort and time to attend a conference...It is! It will be! Step into the coffee shop of God's love and you will be blessed! The weekend was like being at a table with Jennifer and Stormy talking about how God can and will change us, if we will let him! We Sisters in Christ, can take what we learned and help one another live the 'Real Life' and 'take our thoughts captive'. Jennifer, Stormy and Mister O'Brien were the catalyst that started a work in each of US...let's band together and continue that work!
I want to be a change agent in someone else's life! Yes, it hurts sometimes to be in the coffee grinder! But, think about the heavenly smell that comes out when the living water is added...! Ummmm, ummmm GOOD!

What a wonderful two days I spent with Jennifer, Stormie, Michael and 2000 other women. The teaching, laughing and worshiping of our Lord touched my spirit with joy and happiness. Two of the best days of my life. I'm so looking forward to the next two days in 2010.
