To help you gain control over your thoughts, I’ve listed some Scriptures for you to ponder. They all relate to the Holy Spirit and the control He offers. You can use these scriptures as you pray for God’s Spirit to lead you.
Some verses may create more questions than answers. In other words, they may give you something to ponder. Some set an interesting standard so you will know if you are really being guided and taught by God’s Spirit.
Ask God’s Spirit to lead you to the passages you need most right now. Make a commitment to memorize and meditate upon the verses you feel apply to your life. Remember that becoming aware of God’s Spirit in your life helps you shift control from you to Him.
“Teach me to do Your will, for You are my God; Let Your good Spirit lead me on level ground. “ (Psalm 143:10, nasb)

My prayer for you is “…That He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with power through His Spirit in the inner man.” (Ephesians 3:16, nasb)
