What a privilege to be part of the Dr. Phil Show. Dr. Phil and Robin McGraw were incredibly gracious and generous. Dr. Phil not only gave me air time, but he mentioned my book, Lessons I Learned in the Dark, several times, and gave it away to the studio audience. The entire staff including Jan, Scott, Janet, Barbara, Sheldon, Deb, Heather, and Lori made the experience an absolute delight. It was an honor to be part of such an uplifting show.
On the show, you'll meet a mom and dad with 6 year old triplets - all three are blind and deaf. Air date for this Dr. Phil Show is WEDNESDAY, February 28, 2007 (TIVO or set your VCR). The following week, March 3-11, the Billy Graham TV Special featuring my story will air. My book will be the featured premium on the program. Pray with me that many people will find hope, in whatever circumstance they find themselves. What follows is a sequence of photos taken from the time we left Springfield, through the end of the Show. Departed Springfield 9:00 a.m. Tuesday; Returned to Springfield, 11:30 p.m. Wednesday. Wish we could have captured everything, but I think you'll get a sense of the people, the place, and the privilege God arranged. Click here to share in our experience

Dear Jennifer,
I got your newsletter to watch your show on Dr. Phil in March.
You was just great. I also sent an email to Dr.Phil asking him to please have more inspirational guest on his show. Your book Girl-friend "Lessons I Learned in the Dark", just had me in tears. I had tears from the way expressed yourself in more ways than one. I laugh out loud, reading this book made me feel as if you and I was just visiting each other at home. Jennifer, you have a gift that only God can give to a godly woman like you. Please keep up the good work. You and your family are in my prayers.
May God bless you Jennifer.

Dear Jennifer,
I am a mother living in Perth, Western Australia, and we just saw this episode of the Dr Phil show yesterday. I was blown away by the courage of the family, and also by your positive outlook on life, despite very difficult circumstances on both parties. I am very encouraged to purchase your book, - I too want to be more positive and thankful. Thank you for reaching out to so many. God bless you.
