    Jen,

What a great surprise it was when Cheryl Brown of the Tampa Lighthouse for the Blind called me and told me of your meeting! I have thought of you so often over the years.

Since 1988 I have been working at Clovernook Center for the Blind and Visually Impaired in Cincinnati, OH. For the past nine years I have been in charge of Human Resources. Begining November 1st, I will be the Vice President of our Rehabilitation Programs. I am excited about getting back to my rehab roots; but honestly, I was wondering how I would live up to the great responsibility. Then Cheryl's call came.

The Lord touched my life back then when I first met you; and again now, when I needed some affirmation that I will be able to do well in my new role. I think if I just let go of my need to be perfect at it and let God's plan unfold, it just might be alright. Amazing, isn't it?

The postcard you sent me from your trip to Europe graced my desk for years (like twenty). In fact, to this day, when one of my staff does something good, I send them a postcard (literally) letting them know what a good job they have done and that if I could, I would reward them with an exotic vacation.

Please contact me directly, if time permits. I'd love to catch up; meanwhile, thanks for the autographed copy of your book. I love it. It is one of my new treasures.

Praise God for the wonderful, mysterious, loving and humorous way He guides us along life's paths.

    God bless,

    Mike
